  • Rochelle, IL June 10-11

Stock, Mod, J, AXS, OSY 400 are scheduled for the 2nd annual Rochelle Regatta. J and AXS classes to run for the North American Championships.

We waited over 10 years to get in this race site and the course proved to be better than we had hoped for. The pits are good and we have a great sponsor.

Approximately $2,000 in prize and tow money. Tow money paid for each trailer driving more than 250 miles one way. 250-299 miles - $35.00, 300 miles + $50.00. You must register with Chris Dudek (cdudek29H@hotmail.com) prior to June 2 in order to receive tow money. 8 or more boats per class 1st - $75, 2nd - $50, 3rd - $25 Classes with 5-7 boats prize $ to be paid on sliding scale. J classes will receive prize $ on sliding scale even if less than 5 boats per class.

NOTE: Register for 3 or more classes per day per driver and entry fees for 3rd or more classes are free. Free entries will be for classes of lower entry fee, ie register for ASR, ASH, AXSH, the entry fee for AXSH is free. You will still be eligible for all prizes.

Tad Olson is currently working on a dinner for Saturday evening, details to follow.

    Hope to see you there.

    I might add....

Forgot to mention, the course is the same length as Constantine with slightly wider turns.

Sure would make a great tune-up race for the Central Divisionals.

I agree with Bill, this is a great race course. If we had been at any other race course last year we would have been blown out.

Bill, are we going to have testing time at this race?

This is a perfect race site that can withstand the tempers of just about any wind from any direction. This site has the potential for great tradition in the future. Some of the Minnesota gang will be there for sure.
