New sites is key, preferably close to major cities (which might be more expensive). We need to be everywhere to appeal to everyone. Commercials on local T.V. channels about our upcoming races in their area. Entire rigs set up and ready to go with for sale signs on them to appeal to the impulse buyers. Change may be upon us whether we like it or not for this sport to survive. How much is the question. A chameleon can change color but can remain a chameleon... maybe we need new image to appeal to the younger crowd. But what, wildly colored boats with spongebob on the side? I dunno why i even look under these forums it just depresses me. Good job at Lakeland James McDermott!

      Why are you depressed?
identifying the problem is the first step in finding a cure.
would you rather we sit around saying "remain calm all is well"?
Or just toe the party line and agree mindlessly. Griping is an AMERICAN Right and DUTY. Don't even get me started on the current administration! You see something that needs to be fixed say something/ hopefully make things happen.
enough of us care enough to want to help affect change, what are your ideas? we will listen. this is a great sport full of wonderful people, and it does many many things right. A more active role is needed to promote growth. not a scrap this and start over new mindset.
