Well, at least there were no protests or boycotts. And no other boats hurried onto the course to make a legal field of boats. It is unusual to have a competition record faster than the Kilo record. Brian, please hurry to another Kilo event and set the record straight....

            Haven't gotten my Propeller yet.
44 mph. And to think I went to PRO to go faster.
Oh, well, not bad since I broke the record going in reverse.

                Don't worry Brian,

We all saw that rocket ship you drove @ depue and we all know it's faster than 44 mph. You do got to admit, that 44 mph is not to bad since you forgot to put a prop on it.

Nice pic, Brian...when I looked at the cover, I said, "Yes! There's a PRO guy on the front cover of the Propeller!!! AND it's Brian!!"
...And, well, 44mph is a start...

Thanks you so much for the shameless plug. I am the queen of AOF shamelss plugs, you can be the King of West Coast plugs. I always figure that we don't force anyone to read what we write and sometimes someone actually does read it. You set a fire under us with your plug, and if the price of gas doesn't get too much higher, and we can save enough money, we will see you in Devils Lake. (Is that also going to be AOF as Oroville was?)
Gotta get the 44 mph monkey off the back.

to all racers that did not show up the kilos/marathon in sunny calif, brian was lucky to run 44 mph and still have somthing left to put on the trailar to take back home. this year was not the best of years but in years past world class water! to travel that far and run in that size of rollers you earn the title of "driver"
good job brian, see ya at depue

I'll talk to the race director about that. I think it's a great idea. There's something about that 125R Kilo record - started at 35 mph, now to 44 mph; gonna have to break 50 eventually...
