    Pit Staging

You will not have to move on Thursday if you put your trailer where the Pit Boss tells you when you arrive on Mon, Tue or Wed. The official agenda lists pit staging on Thursday since that is the first official day of activities. Ed.

      Schedule flights

I see each flight has 5 classes per, are there going to be mini breaks within the flight or is the plan to run through the flight with 1st heats and then back for the 2nd heats??

I haven't put the numbers per class yet to see where we are thin and classes might be excussed to make things even tighter for the flights.

            Hey Ed,

We are running 25SSH and AMH on the same boat. We would have a partol boat change to switch..... will you give a few minutes in these kind of situations?

            Thanks,
            12M

              Alex Schedule

I looks like all of the 4 cyl Mod classes are run pretty close together. The biggest problem I see is the FER and DMH are back to back. I think most of the guys that run FER also run DMH. As long as there is some time to get from inspection to pits and back in the other boat it should be fine.

                  Pits

There is more than enough pit area at this site. Your micro managing something that needs to be left alone.

I have been asked by Ed Hearn to be the pit guy for the days leading up to the race days. In other words getting folks in place. Eric may be the pit boss during racing as I have a different duty then. I've talked with David Guadagnoli who has been doing the prerace prep and he advises that the grass in the water to the north of the concrete launch ramp is being cleared which opens additional water side pitting space.

I will be arriving in Pineville on Monday (20 Mar)about noon. David and I have agreed that to insure adaquate pit space, we are asking that the lower deck of the parking area be kept free of RV campers and trailers. The lower deck is to be for racing equipment. IE racing trailers and boats. The intent is to place the inspection area just to the north of the concession window which is in the North end of the pavalion. It will be on the lower deck. We are not going to assign spaces but would appreciate all those arriving early to not park RV's on the lower deck so as to preclude having to move them as more race trailers arrive. Thanks to all for their assistance. No intention of micro-managing
