Winter Nats Race Schedule

Below is the TENTATIVE schedule for the Winternationals for Friday and Saturday's racing. We will race as long as possible on Friday and then pick up where we left off on Saturday to finish the program. Sunday's schedule for the record run will be based upon registration.

Schedule of Events

Below is the schedule of Events

Thursday, March 23
· Gates open at 8:00 a.m.
· Uninsured, unsanctioned testing according to local laws
· Pit Staging takes place
· Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. at the Pavillion in the Pits
· Ticket Sales for Championship Banquet take place at Registration
· Boat Inspections take place
· Scales open in Inspection no later than 12:00 p.m.
· Registration closes at 2:00 p.m. sharp
· Driver’s Meeting, Pineville Community Center, 7:00 p.m.

Friday, March 24
· Patrol Boat Drivers report to Judge’s Stand at 8:30 a.m.
· Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m.
· Winternationals Racing begins at 9:00 a.m.
· Friday evening is “open”. Dinner is suggested at Tunk’s

Saturday, March 25
· J and AXS Registration from 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. in the pits
· Patrol Boat Drivers report to the Judge’s Stand at 8:30 a.m.
· Winternationals Racing continues beginning at 9:00 a.m.
· Championship Banquet and Awards Ceremony,
Clarion Convention Center, 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, March 26
· Record Runs Driver’s Meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the pits
· Patrol Boat Drivers report to the Judge’s Stand at 9:00 a.m.
· Record Runs Competition begins at 9:30 a.m.

WOW ..... 9 AM thats early ... well gives me a good excuse to skip a few days of school . I have allready got my school work put to the week after the races . I told them that I was going to be OUT OF TOWN ...... lol ... It isnt lieing if you think about it ... I mean look , I go to school in Alexandria .... I will be across the river in PINEVILLE ... LOL ... so it isnt a lie . lol

Is the Sunday record run the same course as the Winter Nat.?

No. The Fri/Sat course is bigger and only 3 laps. The Sunday course is a surveyed 3/4 mile course.

From what I understand the lake will be open from Monday on for testing of course at your own risk. Now will we have to pack everthing up and be staged on Thursday or will we be able to stay where we are as long as we not taking up more room then we would be alotted. The schedule works great for me getting to old to run back to back classes

Yeah i dont see the point in needing to pack up everything and move , as long as you are not taking up more room than needed . I mean there is ALOT of pitting room . So I mean yeah that is my question too , will we have to pack our stuff up and move where you tell us .. or can we stay where we are ? We are putting our stuff out there Sunday or Monday .................
