What is the price range for a used A foot?

Not junk, but used. What do they go for? Are there any out there? Or does a guy have to buy a new one? Judt trying to find out if it is worth it to convert a 15 Johnson fishing model over. I have a line on some that are the block #'s.

Get a hold of Ed Runne..... He has a lot of A contacts. I think the best deal is to by a whole motor. The gearcases are pretty bullet proof if you can find a used one and the guts are still available......

I am in the process of cleaning house so to speak. We use to run a Johnson A in both runabout and hydro. We no longer have any equipment but found 2 15 HP block assembly's, a real good crankshaft and 2 brand new .30 over pistons. This was all put a side incase we needed it.
