In Fort lauderdale Southeast Divisionals were going to be Jessup GA April 29th & 30th. I believe they trade back in forth with region 5 year to year. At the meeting Region 4 had not yet landed a spot. Northeastern Divisionals was Tauton Mass May 14th & 15th See Ya Mikey

Southeast Divisionals are in Wilson, NC on April 22-23. Dad and Dennis were up at the race site on Sat, and as far as I know that date is now firm.

Mike, AOF was also told Jesup, GA on April 29th -30th. Because of not wanteing to schedule anything in FL on same week end, we already paid over $2000 to rent a new lake near Ocala. (at Altoona). Race is scheduled for April 22-23 and can't be changed. This is a super site and if things go well, the state of FL has several lakes just like this with cabins that rent cheap that we will be able to tap into for racing.
Too bad if the Eastern Divisionals and the AOF record races clash. Both will lose.

                  SE Divisionals

At the APBA National Meeting Jan 26-28 it was decided, since it was region 4's time to host the S E Divisionals and they were currently working on a site but had not secured it yet, to allow them 30 days to secure their site or it would be awarded to region 5 at Jesup April 29-30. Region 4 informed us Sat Feb 25 that they would be hosting the SE Divisionals at Wilson NC April 22-23. This is not their formal announcement as they will be making it. Their is another problem that is facing us, we have had the Jesup race scheduled on the APBA schedule for over a month for April 29-30 and Region 3 now schedules Millville for that same weekend, a lot of the Region 4 guys like to go to both places, so go figure!

                        Great job !!

Region 4 it is very hard to get a race site my hat is off to you guys and good luck . As far as dates being scheduled what a mess for all, i think that is why it is inportant that everyone have there schedules ready by Nov. It seems to happen every year all we can do is try to work closer together for next year. How confusing it must be for all APBA AOF NBRA series racing ECT ECT What a mess as usual

We had no other choice then to schedule Millville that weekend. The first weekend in May, the Laruel Lake Prop. Owners have a meeting in their clubhouse and our race interefed with that. The second weekend in May is mother's day weekend, and the other weekends are races in CT, MA, and PA.

Mother's Day weekend is NOT a conflict. We raced at Dayton on that weekend for years. The only reason we moved Dayton to August was due to the wind that time of year. Wait..., maybe that was God telling us that Mother's Day weekend IS a conflict.
