That bare wood boat is absolutely beautiful !! Excellent work. Very pretty wood used, I assume the ribbon stripped Okume plywood ? Man that stuff is pretty, and the craftsmanship in that boat is about as good as it gets.
well, I guess I could show pictures of my "completed" CSH, but working on others boats is holding me back some. Plus, I still new to make a mold/plug of the front cowl, so I can make them myself from now on, relying on no one else. So, I will do it, before I apply the paint, will still in primer (hopefully this weekend).
Dave, my new 20SSH will also get some paint on it, just like my CSH will and same scheme, but will have alot of natural wood still showing........
I seen that rig up close when I was at Dudley's place. You did a great job on the cowling and paint Job. I see my boat on the trailer in the back also.
Here is a picture of my Dawecraft CSH getting the cockpit sides doubled up. It's not new, but it is new to me. More pictures to come next week. When I'm finished with its face lift.
Looks like I need to resize them. I'll post them later.
Come on spring! I can't wait to go testing. Here are some photo's. The graphics were done by are fellow racer Mike Franck. Thanks Mike. Special thanks to Steve Johnson for the use of his Heated shop. Otherwise I would not have been able to do the things I did to it until spring. I'm kind of proud of it, It's my first. I know it's not new but it is new to me.
First race I think I will be at is Burlington, WI May 27-29. See you cheese heads there the mud ducks are coming . ( it's a MN, WI thing)
