GPS datalogger

Is there a smartphone app that will record speed or a handheld GPS that will log speed? I have a good Digatron DT53 that logs rpm, exh temp and head temp so I'm not in for a Mychron, just want more than the max peak speed that I get off my old Garmin.

Are you JUST looking for a speedometer? if so I use Speedometer Pro. It's for android. shows you current, average, and top speed.
