How long is a new life jacket good for before it has to be "Recertified"? could not find any info in the APBA rules

That's because THERE IS NO Recertification Rule in APBA for Lifejackets. -

B. Life jackets : Jackets must be constructed in compliance with the "APBA Life Jacket Basic Manufacturing Specifacations" dated March 1 2013.
1)All racing life jackets must have a permanent affixed (sewn in) manufactures label indicating:
A) date of manufacturing date or re certification.Comment
