HARM J Hydro Project: Weeks 7-9

Here's a quick update on the HARM J Hydro Project: All bottoms are attached, and almost all the boats have sponson shears and battens and air traps. Non trips are next, and we may see some combing sides starting to go on in the next couple of weeks. Everyone is hard at work, and still having fun.

Pat,

Thanks for keeping us updated on this project. It would be great if other areas / regions could do something similar. Even if this would only be every 4-6 years, you could get a "new" field of J drivers. I think a lot can be said and learned from this project. Obviously these kids are getting an experience that many adult racers never get a chance to do - build their own boat. Hopefully, this experience will keep them "hooked" and who knows maybe even develope boat builders of the future.
