Congratulations Rick. I hope you're child brings as you much pleasure as mine have for me. If it's a boy, I hope he grows up to be just like you. My father wished that same wish for me just before Ryan was born. He was such a wonderful child. Good luck and may God bless you all.

I was at the hospital the day Beth's Grandaughter (Cassidy) was born 5 years ago. An amazing event for me having never been a --DAD-er-GRAND DAD --. (Even topped winning my first Boat Race that same year at Coldwater.)
Dad (Eric Rikett) and Grandpa (Rick Rikett) both made it just in time on their Harleys...

Hope to take her testing this year in BSH.

Got word at Christmas from Heather and Eric that they are going to try for number 2.

Rick, What is the ETA? Any names yet?

                          Rick,
                          How's recovery going?

Beth's Nephew Alan, that bought John Reeds rig, has a rod in the top third of his back from a bad car wreck 15 years ago. He still misses/talks about that cherry 442 Olds!
He test's the D-MOD when we get together at High Banks/Senaca Nation camp ground. I rig/run the C-MOD Merc, Archie Lewis brings his 25MOD Merc and his B/Hot-Rod. We have a blast chasing each other around that end of the Kinzua resivoir. There are two channel markers about 300 yards apart that we use for corners. The Senaca Nation Marshals control the water for us.
We had a scare last year after the Nationals at Franklin, we went up to High Banks to run the rigs. Alan and I where deck-to-deck making a pass for his buddie Steve to get a couple pics when a roller from a ski boat caught us off guard. I saw it and was able to slide back and hop over it. As I looked back I saw Alan doing a full cartwheel across the water. Kind'a like Charlie Brown when he gets BEANED on the pitchers mound! When I swung around and asked if was OK, he was hanging onto the rig laughing and said "I hope Steve got that on film!"-----Beth was NOT impressed!

I was torn up in 1972 when I was hit head-on on my 1966 Honda 305 Super Hawk. Just left the Honda shop were I was work'n at the time and heading into town when I looked over at the Dairy Queen to check for babes. When I looked back a 1967 Impala was turning in coming the other way. 55mph SMACK! I remember clearing the car and the phone wires and landing at Joni Rugars feet as she was getting into her car. Kind of a LOUD way to impress a BABE! Wish I new about injury lawyers back then! would make the Arthritus in my knees a little easier to take.

Rolled twice in same year (1977) running Street Stock at Eriez Speedway (dirt).

Compression fractured T-11 and T-12 on a 1971 Artic Cat 440 EXT Special /MOD snowmoble, Super-Bowl Sunday 1990 leading a club trail ride to a bar at Chautauqua Lake with a belly full of beer.................

Yah..... in cat lives I've got to be on number 8!

Gotta believe someone is watch'n over us..............

19P .."Jesus take the wheel........" ----Gretchn Wilson?

click on pic---------Yah yah...I HAD hair!.........
