What's better engine mounted or Transom mounted and why. This is for a Hydro

Mike, when we ran stock we always ran yamato kickout. it was easy and worked without issues.

Engine mounted, this way the bracket is always with the motor. If the motor gets put on another boat,the bracket is there.

I think it's a personal preference. With multiple engines the boat mounted may work better. With multiple boats but same engine. The engine mounted would work better. If it's one engine one boat it is just a preference. I personally like the motor mounted kick out bracket but again that is a preference.
