Terry Hicks sent pics a few days ago about the water level at Rock Falls. It's better than it has been in years and the current is slower than we've seen in a long time.

It's so nice that MRC drivers are testing there today.

It has been flooded south of us, but North has been good, so they actually closed the locks a bit which has slowed the current down too. Its a win win here in Rock Falls. I monitor the water very closely along with a couple websites. I am usually in panic mode at the site of rain, but this year am very calm. Our forecast calls for sunshine all next weekend. Hope to see many of you show up.
