If you could only watch one race at winter nationals what would it be? The rest of the time you would have to drink "stuff" and tell lies about how fast you are or were...

Before the advent of side fins that would have been a very easy question for me to answer - DMR.
Actually what I have in mind are the 40 cubic inch AOF DMR's of 20+ years ago. I wouldn't have raced that class if you paid me because I wanted to watch it. With guys like Kenny Bayer, Tab Buford, Larry Conners, Burt Hoefs, Dale Hull, and probably some others I don't remember right now, all on the course at the same time, you always knew that there was going to be one heck of a race to watch.
This year at the APBA Winter Nationals......... I'd like to watch DMH but I'm planning on being in that race..... I'd like to watch FEH also, but I may be in that one too...... Ruling out those 2 classes, I guess CSH would be a good one to watch - although DMR will still be a great race to watch if Kevin McAfee and Ralph Cook are both in it. Until you've seen Kevin and Ralph tangle in a D or E runabout race you just haven't seen a good runabout race! And neither of them drive side fin boats - they both drive runabouts....

There is no class like CSH. 20ssH and ASH are close to, and of course BSR is always exciting.Ryan Runne

be sure to vote!
I want to have a clear winner. The poll is very interesting in that the mods have less votes but the most pop. class?????? No BMH fans? Only 1 J vote?
This makes Me think a stock class like the FEH class would go great at stock races. Hint. Hint. Bass motor in its own class, own rules, better carbs and it is an FE motor.

have to say 20SSH
In the Midwest 20SSH has been the biggest and most competitive class over the last 3-4 years on average. CSH is alway very good on the National level, but hasn't had the numbers over the last few years in Region 6/7.
As a few have said, the BSR (long live the roll-ups) battle always shape up really nice and when all the 'top dogs' show up at say Grass Lake ASH can bee a real fun one as well.
