  • PRD Fireball 125 Modified - A Guide to Lessons Learned

In response to tremendous interest in the PRD Fireball 125 Modified class, several of the teams who worked on the engine during the inaugural 2018 season have assembled their collective knowledge into a guide for new/prospective participants. In this book you will find great information about the motor as well as a ton of advice, tips and lessons learned that we were answering to inquiries around the pits.

This guide to "APBA 125 Modified Racing with the PRD Fireball" is linked here and will be available shortly from the APBA website.

Please feel free to reach out to any of the contributors listed on the front of the guide with questions about this exciting new class! Powerheads and motors are available from US-based suppliers!

If you would like to see this class in action, check out some Youtube videos:

I never used Comet Kart for PRD parts... but there are several options...

                1) Jerry Davids is a licensed PRD dealer and can get you anything you need... He has all the common goodies in stock, or can order anything else for you
                2) Check https://prdfireball.com
                3) Acceleration Karting has some items

Awesome...if you have questions feel free to reach out. We ran ours on an ASH but we were running out of boat as we got faster so we are changing to a slightly larger model for 2019.
