Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Bob VanOver Memorial Regatta has been cancelled due to site conditions. From all the rain that the mid-west has received over the past couple weeks, the ground is too soft to try and risk getting trailers stuck down by the water. We have been closely monitoring the situation over the past couple days and this has been a very difficult decision to make. The race committee had a meeting with the parks department early this morning and we do plan on coming back next year around the same time. Again, we apologize to anyone who was already packed up and ready to go but we wanted to give ourselves as much time as possible before we made this difficult decision. We look forward to seeing all racers from other regions next year and we will see our IOA members at our annual awards banquet November 10th. Thank you all for the understanding.

Koschka-41H: Thank you very much for posting this weekend's Kentucky cancellation on this site (and thank you Hydro Racer). A last minute web check saved me a long haul. Also, thanks for hanging in there and trying to make the race happen.
FYI: Indiana Outboard Association facebook has an “invite-post” advising of NBRA Short Course Nationals tomorrow in nearby Jacksonville, Illinois.
