There are some tiny images of frames and boat upside down : google 'area31 racing restorations' and click on images. Enlarging these may help if you are drawing up your own plans.

Here's a bit of a peek of the bottom of a boat from the front. Also Google ' Area31 racing' then click on images. The website seems to be missing but google images has pictures and utube video links.

Well Dean, this was taken about a block or so from Konig factory. This is were boat testing was done after motor tests/ development was done and tested at factory. What you see and think is snow, is gravel piled up and it is white. There were always barges moving this and other items through the canals of Berlin. Berlin is a city that has many canals that crisscross through it and at one time was a escape route from the East to flee communism. Many died trying to do this over the years. A very interesting place to be in the eighties to observe the form Soviet Block and the things citizens did to escape. There is a very good museum at the old Checkpoint Charlie gate that shows what was done from 1960 and before to 89 and how people sought out simple freedom. It was a experience that I would not trade for any amount of money. To bad our young citizens can’t see this or experience this,(maybe in Venezuela) what Socialism does to people and a nation. Looks good on paper but is pure BS in the real World.

Approximately what years were those boats built?

And roughly when did Crescent start and stop building that engine?
