And, am I the only one weirded out by having the finals banquet in a Catholic church? Seems a bit ominous.

I like the idea of having the finals banquet in a Catholic Church hall. Everyone has a lot to be thankful for after a long week of racing. Besides, Catholic Festivals are always a great place to celebrate and drink beer here in Wisconsin!

Yes, SO Central Marathon Divisionals (Saturday) and CSH/CSR Tag Team Race.

There will be Wild Ones Golf Outing on Sunday (7/23) during the afternoon and Taste of Regions in the evening at Brinkman's Marine.

We are also planning a social media scavenger hunt with prizes for the teams that accumulate the most point throughout the week.

Information regarding trailer move in, registration and drivers meeting:

1) Trailer move in will be Sunday, July 23rd starting at approximately 9:00am. There will be tractors in the Grass Lake Park to move your trailer to it's assigned pit stall. Only Race committee and members helping with pre-race set up will be allowed in prior to Sunday.

2) Registration will take place on Sunday, July 23rd from 12:00pm (noon) to 5:00pm and Monday, July 24th from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Registration will be at the Grass Lake Train Depot / Whistlestop Park: 210 E. Michigan Ave. Grass Lake, MI. You must be registered before you can test.

3) Driver's Meeting will start at approximately 7:00pm. There will be a dinner (Ox/Cow Roast with side dishes of corn, potatos, salad and rolls) prior to the Driver's Meeting that will start at 6:00pm. Bring your appetite as this will be a meal unlike any other. Cost will be posted soon. Driver's Meeting/Dinner will be at: Walz Fabrication 242 Burtch Rd, Grass Lake, MI. Cost will be $18 per person (12 and older), $9 for kids 8-12 and kids 8 and under free hot dogs and side dish.

Information regarding the Qualifier's Banquet and Finals Banquet:

1) Thursday, July 27th: Qualifiers Banquet - Fish Fry Dinner hosted by Knight's of Columbus at Our Lady of Fatima 913 Napoleon Rd., Michigan Center, MI. Cost -$15 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 yo. Children 5 & under are free. Family price $40 for 2 adults and 2 or more children.

2) Saturday, July 29th: Finals Banquet - Pasta Dinner hosted by Friends of Jay at Our Lady of Fatima 913 Napoleon Rd., Michigan Center, MI. Cost -$15 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 yo. Children 5 & under are free. Family price $40 for 2 adults and 2 or more children.

Ethanol Free Fuel:

Fuel will be available at the tank in the right rear corner of the Kelly Fuels - Mobil Gas Station located at: 242 E. Michigan Ave. Grass Lake, MI.

Pricing should be between $3-4 per gallon depending on the market price at the time.

Besides the obvious smaller class finals throughout the week, will any of the larger classes have finals before Friday and/or Saturday?

Finals will be run as early as Wednesday afternoon, but the majority of them are planned for Thursday and Friday. As you know this is all weather depending and the schedule can be pulled ahead or fall behind.

Thanks for posting the schedule Mark............just a thought............why did you put CSH-CSR out together to test? Isn't that going to make things a bit lumpy out on beautiful Grass Lake? Perhaps CSH-DSH would be a better mix?? 20ssh-25ssh. ASH-BSH. etc etc................Not a complaint, just a thought.)))
