We plan to run a Mercury and a Sidewinder on the same boat. There is a difference in motor set back relative to the transom and boat bottom..If you have a boat that has a transom recessed into the boat for a Mercury, the Sidewinder when mounted on the transom at the proper height, the tip of the nose cone is about 2 1/2 in. forward under the back of the boat. Will this work? What have others done to solve this problem,or just run it like it is?

We have a B & H Hydro and face the same issue when we elect to run ASH with a Sidewinder 15ci. You will need to make a boat bracket to adjust the Sidewinder engine properly. The tip of the torpedo on ours is about 1/2inch under the bottom at full legal height of 1' 3/4" and max tuck of 1/2"
The bracket is not a simple thing to make.........call Dave Bennett for tips. Just my opinion.
