just out of curiosity and knowing most engine builders are full of crap, and there engines are just stock, what are you guys porting your 3 holers to?? ive got some at 80 and some at 110 what do you guys have?

Are you running it on a Hydro or Runabout, and are you looking for top end or low end power? There are many aspects to porting it also depends on intake and head CC's. There are a lot of books and on line sites that you can look at to get the benefits of porting 2 cycle engines. The one thing that you need to remember is outboard engines running in water will never perform with porting of a 2 cycle engine that has gears or slip clutches.
It is the same principal as a track runner trying to get the same time for a distance running on pavement or in sand!Comment
