A little Google Research:

Looks like a Hobart Ultra Light Hydro. I built it for Roy Miner with Jeff Hutchins running it in A Stock Hydro. First time out it broke one of the A Stock Hydro records... Either the 1 mile or 1- 1/4 mile course record.

Then the Hearns bought it.

I still have the last one of these that I built. My son Tod set / broke three records with this boat in 1986, the first year of the OMC A motor.

so, am thinking I might trade my "other 10XS" for a 25xs............it is missing the lower unit, so would trade for the same in a 25xs

Would like to have a power head to tower adapter plate for one.....Or complete top end gas with driveshaft if you want to split and sell the tower and foot separate ?
