    Yukon 800 Marathon Starts Today in Alaska

    The Yukon 800 starts at 1PM today in Fairbanks, it will be 400 miles downriver today to the village of Galena, then they race back tomorrow with a mass start at 6AM. The water on the Tanana River is fairly low, shortcuts will be few. This is Tommy Kriska's winning boat from last year.
