  • 2016 NBRA in Boyce, Louisiana at Tunk's Cypress Inn May 21st-22nd Results

After each driver's name you will see the positions in each heat that led to their overall placing followed by their total points combined from each heat. If your name does not show up in the listing under a certain class' results, it's either because you failed to score any points within it or you were not a legal participant in the class. If you see more than one driver finishing in the same position, that is due to a tie in points and means that each driver is tied for the shown position. These were taken directly from the score sheets and double checked to insure that no mistakes or small mathematical errors were overlooked. Thanks to everyone who made it down last weekend!

Nice work John, it was nice to meet you finally. What were any comments about the new clock. I ran the clock for both days and found it very easy to operate, including the camera. Alan purchased a new I pad Air with some new software that makes it easier to stop frame the video which will make it easier to check for jumpers. LOL

I really enjoyed the clock. Visually it's one of the best I've had the luxury of looking at from the race course. I'm looking forward to checking out from across a larger body of water to see how well seen it is.

The clock was great, my only complaint is not being able to see it from the back side

We are working on that, we had some issues with no camera the first day so the back clock was turned for the scores to see. Originally it was facing down the course. I think by not seeing the clock and no room to really mill around up course there were fewer gun jumpers the first day. The second day I think a number of people thought they had it figured out so we had more jumpers, the camera worked good the second day but the decision was made to keep the back clock facing the scores. All in All it was a great weekend!

I believe the USTS has one on order and is hoping to have it on time for the 4th of July race at Springfield.

Alezatec clock is used by most clubs. 36" high numbers with four lights across, makes it very bright. The clock was purchased by donations from NBRA members and matched by Dr Glenn Nelson. We purchased a second clock 24" tall that can be faced toward the spectators, so they can tell when the race starts. Its available to all NBRA races.

I found it very easy to use, 30 seconds of instruction and your good to go. Has a light that can be used with an Ipad camera and with the correct software you can review the start frame by frame. The controller also has a built in LED clock so the scoring table does not need to be in front of the clock. A very nice package. I would suggest that plastic cover be available in case rain comes to visit.
