  • 321 Water Outlet Rule Clarification

Looking at the 302 rules, the Water Outlet has a measurement of .315, which measures correctly. But on the 321, the Water Outlet is a different size hole - much smaller. What is the correct measurement on the 321?

    Thank you, John.

The holes on the back of the tower are for exhaust.

I would agree with that; however, the spec sheet refers to it as a "water outlet". No diagram, other than the one shown, is given.

Those holes are for easy starting when the tower is half full of water. Exhaust relief holes I think they are called. I always wondered what that water outlet spec referred too, it is totally unclear in the spec.

Have you emailed or called your commissioner? TJ? or Ricky? Those would probably be the best guys to answer the question.

Ask them if we can use the 14mm 302 heads too. It would lower the spark plug cost and increase available heat options.
