    Craig,

Were you still planning on posting a couple pics of D'Augustino's new 20ssH you and your dad built for him? Just curious.

    can you share

is it uncooth to ask specific question? like how long is the after plane ? how wide? and how much does it weigh? transom angle? com'on capt. you gotta share a little,, for us daydreamers,.,. I used to drive a furnel ASH backin 91 and92 had an insane S shape bottom.. we got it at an afortable price because the former owners were unable to get the boat to get on plane with a competitive set up. any how to make a long story short it like to get on plane while going in a cicle, once it was up watch out!!rough water .never felt it and when that boat poped up the whole boat would always poped up even..radical stuff ...totally dig Lee Furnel really glad to see more of his work. 12kenF oh yea Capt. keep wearing those back patches ,, I hope you got another 25 30 yrs left inya...

        Ken,

The hydro is my own design, however I did have some help, from a great boat designer, with the lift. And, the nose piece was made by Tom Cronk.

The runabout is my own design.

                  Flyer Logo?

                  Leigh and or Craig,
Did you guys have a Flyer logo that you used? I will be refinishing my Flyer in January and wanted to put the Flyer logo on it if you had one.

                  Thanks,
                  RussW

Thanks Craig! I'm glad to see that you and your dad are building a few boats again. I hope you guys stick with it. Any plans you might start racing again?

Ken, the afterplane is 75" long and the bottom is 38" wide. The boat is a laydown and I love it. I was a little nervous before my first ride in it, but now that I've gotten pretty comfortable in the boat, I wouldn't want to go back to kneeling down. The boat handles the rough water great and is a cadillac to drive. Its different to drive, but nothing a little testing and racing didn't resolve. Soon, in a year or two, I'll have another one, lighter and more competitive for both 20 and C. The boat weights 140lbs. race ready. This winter I plan on building a much lighter ramp, it weights about 20lbs. The cockpit cowl weights 8 lbs. itself so its weight is pretty normal minus those two things. I'm ready for summer!

                      ?? turn fin ??

                      Matt or Craig,

Looks like a lllllooootttt of turn fin

I'm sure it's an optical illusion, but it looks like it's about 10" below the bottom of the sponson. Tell me Matt took a hack saw to it.
