    Hinton Nationals Pit Parking

    Hi All,

    We are accepting requests for pit parking for the 2016 Nationals. Please send your requests or questions to hintonparking2016@gmail.com.

    Please include whom you would like to be pitted with, along with trailer size(s). For trailer size please indicate as S, M or Large.

    Attached you will find instructions for parking before and during race week.

    Can we request who we don't want to pit by?

    I'm really asking because I'm sure there will be plenty of people that don't want to pit near the Pavlick's and the mess they make.

      Just a thought....how about having all the J/AX kids pitted near each other ?

        Been awhile. Can I request to pit next to the Lemonaid Stand! That thing was pure goal in the 90's!!!

          We are bringing all the race boats in Oklahoma, so we will need some space. Lol

            Hi All,

            We have received many reservations for parking spots for Hinton, thank you all. We have also started the process of assigning said requests onto the surveyed pit map.

            Below is a my list of trailers that have been assigned a spot already. If you are NOT on this list please email hintonparking2016@gmail.com, leaving a message on this thread will not reserve a spot for you. You may also find your name on this list even though you have not sent in a request. This is done purposely, if someone sent a request and wanted to be pitted by another group or person I added and assigned accordingly. If you are on this list and do NOT plan on attending please advise as space is filling up fast and it helps tremendously with planning.

            There are no R10 folks on here. I have spoke with Bahl and he knows of at least 2 large trailers coming. We have made appropriate space for both.

              That certainly a lot of folks! Wicked glad to see our name on there. I like Charlie's idea of the J folks pitting together. We like all the folks, but it makes it easier to locate the kids when they go walk-about.

              Having all the J kids together sounds good, but logistically this is NOT possible for so many reasons. Your pit spaces will be where they will be.

                Space is filling up fast. So far we have 111 trailers/teams assigned to a pit space. The updated list is below.

                If you know of someone that is coming and not on the list please have them email me a request. If they don't have email me please do it on their behalf, ASAP.

                  For those attending the Stock/Mod/J Nationals...

                  The staging areas for your trailers for those arriving prior to Sunday will be at two different locations in the Hinton area.
                  1. Upon entrance into the pits there are 2 overlooks along Rte 20 that have plenty of space to park trailers. There will be signs designating the staging area.

                  2. Pipestem Resort: 3405 Pipestem Dr Pipestem, WV 25979. Signs will be posted to direct you to the staging area.
                  At this time the pits will not open until Sunday, July 31st @ 10:00 am

                      This brings back memories of the 1969 Nationals in Hinton, Hurricane Camille was a guest. As we arrived in Charleston from Oregon, the weather conditions were extreme. The show went on, over 500 boats.
