      Celebrate and Enjoy

Turkey, Cider, and perhaps a 'Madison' rerun for us.

And many warm thoughts for the extended family racing has brought us all.

      Thanks

        Milady has the perfect T-Day plan . . .

So sez SWMBO - "We're going to paint the kitchen on T-Day."
        My reply, "Yes dear."
Of course repainting the kitchen involves disconnecting the stove and fridge and moving them outta the way. As you can well imagine, ain't no cooking going on this T-Day. Toss up, turkey samichs from Subway, or zip up to the local diner.

Am I thankful? You bet. Woke up on the sunny side of the grass this morning, have a lovely wife (SWMBO) who keeps me somewhat on track, and a lot of friends who abuse me just enough to keep me humble :-)

Will be spending Turkey Day at The Cracker Barrel with the kids. We celebrated our Thanksgiving last Friday with 25 of our closest soldiers. Deep fried 3 turkeys cooked all the fixin's and than shipped them off to Afghanistan for a year. No complaints just proud to have a husband willing to serve so I can play with boats. Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!!

                  Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!
Well, dad is in the shop, Chef Ryan is cooking, Poppy Runne, me and my mom are looking for our dog that ran away this morning. And like every Thanksgiving we end our prayer with "...and God bless boatracing" seriously
                  Have a great T-Day guys!

                      Kristi,
Yesterday our family said thanks to Richard and all the Ellison family for all of the sacrifices you make so that we can live in a country so that we can race. You are a strong woman with good kids. I know this is not your first separation form Richard while he was off doing his duty to his country, but it never gets any easier. Way back when I was young, Terry did 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. (Now you know why he is the way he is...or maybe it is the reason I am nuts too). Anyway, I don't know how I made it each time with little kids. Your boys are older and great boys, and I am sure they already miss their Dad.
Thank you so much and please tell Richard he is in our thoughts. Let us know if there is anything that we can do to make his stay easier on you and the kids.

                        Kristi-
We feel the same at the Burklund home also. We pray for Richard and "his Boys" every night, and hope for there safe return. If you should need anything that we could help with, please don't hesitate to ask! Even if it's to ship the boys off so you can have some down time, they are more than welcome to come and visit. And if history is one of there problem classes, Brad is only a phone call away.

                          Thanks

                          Connie and Billie

I spoke with Richard last night and they are in country and will be at their final destination soon, wheather permitting. I appreciate all the support I know we are truly blessed. I past on all your well wishes to Richard and the troops. Connie I think you do have a good point....that which doesn't make you stronger, makes you crazy!!

Billie I am heading to the trailer today. I have a bunch of packages to mail on Monday to Richard and I will be sending your stuff also...finally! I will email you the shipping number.
