"Fully expanded, it spreads to 51″ x 35″"
what 51" long ? means coil up position for most
"Keep Move'n" life is catching up!

51" . . I wonder how wide the back seat was in an old Volkswagon? In July, 1967, with my BSH Karelsen loaded on top of my '60 beetle, a friend and I drove from Seattle to an annual Reg.10 race on the Columbia River near Bridgeport, WA. We got there near the end of a fine warm summer day, and I blew up my air mattress and unrolled my sleeping bag and prepared to sleep out under the stars on the parking lot next to the car.. I expected John to do the same, but it seems someone had mentioned rattlesnakes and the possibility of one crawling into a sleeping bag at night to get warm. Poor John was so spooked that he chose to sleep on the back seat of my bug, all six-foot-one of him!!

But with a more suitable car, that's not bad, HRTV. Especially if you're twenty-one, as we were then, don't make a lot of money, and can adapt to most any situation.
