TBD - Partially based on feedback to this thread. June 30th will be a test day. There will be an hour or two of planned testing each morning.

Forgot to mention that in addition to the Super 8 and Motel 6 listed on the race circular, there are three other hotels in Harriman, about 5 miles west on I-40:
Holiday Inn and Suites 865 295-0001

100% real gas is readily available locally: 87 octane at Weigels and 93 octane at Big E's, both are just minutes from the pits.

Thanks to those that have responded to the roll call thus far. We are receiving many reasonable questions as the class schedule for each day. At the moment, the schedule is TBD. We need to form a better idea as to the expected turnout for individual classes. Testing will take place Thursday and drivers meeting will likely take place Thursday evening with dinner. No worries if you cannot arrive until late Thursday or Friday morning. Just give us a heads up!

BTW - We paid out about $12K in tow money last year. I estimate a minimum of $9K for this year with potentially as much as $11K. There are some variables such of turnout and number of trailers.

Again, I encourage all of you to come race with some of the friendliest and welcoming race fans in the country!!

You do not even have to be one of the best to participate and to have an enjoyable time!!!!!

John, I believe motorhome parking will be on the far side of the city recreational area (a portion that we used as over-flow pits last year). This is maybe a 3 - 5 minute walk to the pit area.

All, similar to last year there will be a dinner for drivers and teams Thursday night at Gloria Jeans Fine Southern Dining. The food was great last year and many teams returned to dine at Gloria's during the long weekend. Following dinner, there will be a drivers meeting. If you are unable to arrive by Thursday evening, please let us know in advance that you are coming and the classes that you will run. You will need to register in the morning and check-in with the referee. Also, please pre-register ahead time as requested by Joyce above.
