School Schedules

I have noticed here in California that school seems to be starting earlier than ever before.There are several districts that are starting next week and some even started this week. When I was a kid, a bazillon years ago, we went back to school on the 1st Wednesday after Labor Day. I was wondering if this shift is occurring in other parts of the country.

If so, is this impacting some of our racing families ability to attend national races that are scheduled for August? As we all know boat racing is a very family oriented sport and wondered if this is having an effect on who can or cannot go to a nationals? Afraid this might just be one more nail.

CT most are still after labor day, But some have changed in the past few years to the week before labor day

The schools here in Montana went to starting before Labor day but have now changed back to after labor day.. Total failure after two years

Carl - School here in the Valley started last week and already have had a half day already in less than a week. Never had half days when I was in school. They have so many half days its unreal
