  • 44 Merc Tower

One of my many winter projects is this D-Mod Tower. Machined from a 6 x 6 x 12 45 lb Billet of Aluminum. Four operations later and it weighs 9.6 lbs.
5.9 Inches tall and uses a custom saddle and clamp assembly.

Thanks Mike. You'll be back, most racers I know take some time away to do something else. It's an addiction. Iv'e competed in a lot of different things, but there's nothing like the sensation of being out front in clean water. Then the fin hooks up, you look down at your GPS and realize your hauling azz.

Nice work... How long did it take to write the program??? Also,, am assuming that you have an
    aircraft bone-yard close by..

I've made several towers over the years, so I already knew the hole pattern for the power head and the gear case. I have about two hours in programming. No Aircraft supply near by, purchase the material from a local supplier. Blanks were only $120 ea.

Yes I have offered these for several years, this is just my latest revision. The complete Tower & Clamp assembly with Steering Bars is $1250.
