Eddy Park's number is disconnected and no one answers at City Hall and now I've left 3 messages - any suggestions on how to best contact them?

Went through the finance department extension - weird, money always talks! Person you are looking for is Jenny in the clerk's office.

What about those who may be tenting? I contacted Jenny today and led me to believe that this is a first-come, first-serve type basis?

I just talked to Jenny, wonderful woman to talk with, and they hope to have ok from the state for the overflow parking of self contained RVs in a week or so. This overflow will be, I'm told, about a 3/4 mile walk from the pits, the pit camping location was full in dec.

What is the plan for those camping without RV's (AKA tents)?

We have several options we are working on and will get back to everyone when we have more details. Some of those options involve the state and will take longer to resolve.

This is what I can tell you.

The camp ground is full as you all have read above.

They are working on the overflow site but it will only hold about 8-10 motor homes. It is a paved lot on the corner of Hwy 2 & Eddy Lake Rd. The units will have to be self contained. This has to be approved by the state and will take some time.

They are also working on coming up with another site in town.

The first come tent sites are by the camp ground and will hold about 10 tents.

If anyone has specific question please feel free to reach out to me. My best email is my work email but it seems to be sensitive to some emails, that one is dallen(at)usautoforce(dot)com, if I don't get back to you within a day try the one below.

Otherwise you can email me on my personal email that I am horrible at checking...dallen4(at)new(dot)rr(dot)com

For those that are not sharp like Mike Pavlick...(at)=@ and (dot)=.

So for those that cannot commit until the last minute so to speak, might as well stay home as there will be no place to pitch a tent or stay?

Have you ever attended a boat race where something can't be worked out? Like I said, we are working with the City on other options, we'll work something out. If you are looking for a reason to stay home, don't use us.
