2014 Indiana Outboard Association Banquet Reminder

The end of the racing season is quickly approaching and that means that it is time to start thinking about the Fall Awards Banquet. This year it remains on the same date, November 1st, but the location has changed. Unfortunately due to increased costs and having to compete with a puppeteer convention, the awards banquet will no longer be at Pogakon State Park in Angola Indiana. The location has changed to the Hilton Garden Inn in Ft. Wayne Indiana. Rooms are $89 per night and make sure to mention that you are with the IOA to get that special rate. The awards ceremony is free to attend but if you want dinner the rates are $35 per person. Email Jasen Dircksen at clearwatercustoms@outlook.com with your reservations. If you reserve a dinner, you are required to pay for it. In years past we have had people reserve dinners and not attend which ends up costing the club quite a bit of money. Cocktail hour begins at 6 with a cash bar and the dinner begins at 7. We generally have a meeting regarding club business in which all are welcome to join. This will begin at noon and will run til about 3.
