Moses Lake 2014 was my first nationals as a participant. It was a great experience and the goal to qualify in the finals in two classes ASH and ASR was achieved. Unfortunately in heat 2 of ASR I caught a rouge wave in Turn two of lap one while overtaking the 2nd place boat. Fortuantely for me the skill of the 9 drivers behind me was so kind to miss me. Whew!! After a pickup by the rescue crew and a discussion at the judges area pertaining to insurance etc.; I was escorted to the pit area where the damaged boat was already on shore. Thank you to those persons who are unknown that took care of the equipment. It is a comfort to know that we all take care of each other while having fun in participating in a sport that can be dangerous to both equipment and person. Again THANK YOU VERY MUCH. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR. BE SAFE, GO FAST AND TURN LEFT.
