New race course in Region 11

Region 11 has a new race course at Mossdale Quarry Lake near Lathrop, CA. This location could become a very important part of our efforts to attract new drivers and grow the sport because it is within a rapidly growing area, unlike our established sites at Oroville and Copperopolis. This summer the lake hosted jet ski and wake board events, attracting large crowds.
The shoreline is firm sand with a rapid drop-off, making it ideal for launching and LeMans starts. Camping is on site, and motels are a short hop up the road.
The inaugural race will be September 27-28, scheduled are SO (including 45SS), PRO, Mod, Sports C, Cracker Box, special event, and J classes. Check the APBA site for the flyer, register at boatracingR11.com
