I crashed my 16-year-old Mustang into the back of a lane (big lineup) of stopped traffic on a dual carriageway a mile below Selinsgrove. The entire durn highway funnels down into an exit ramp from 55 mph to almost zero with no warning sign. Troopers told me they service a lot of accidents there.
I'd been thinking of upgrading my transportation for several years now. Now I have no choice.
The Chevvy Cruze I rented to get back home got 42.8 mpg and looks to me like a good option.
When I restored my 1978 Buddy Smith hydroplane this spring & summer, I debated whether to round off the pickles, looked up the rule, discovered that I didn't need to because the boat is so old, so I left 'em pointy.
The points impaled the Mustang's trunk & broke off. Looks like the ol' boat now gets roundy pickleforks after all. ... :<))
