How did Zach finish higher than Jesse, as Jesse finished in front of Zach in both heats, even if there were DQ's, it wouldn't have changed that Jesse finished a
      head of Zach.

Final score sheet of the day to close out the 2014 APBA Nationals Moses Lake. I have had a great time met some folks I only knew by name here, unfortunately didn't get to meet a few that I really wanted too, they were simply not around their pit area when I had time to go see them. Got a bit of a sunburn, but loved every minute of being here with you guys. (Opps posted this on Friday by accident!)

CSR? The previous page had 14H with a 1st and 4th. That would have resulted in a win. What did I miss.....

Teresa...........thanks for all you do. It seems funny some folks are pressing you like you are the APBA President in charge of communicating the results and linking the live stream for all to see. lol Little do they know you are just a boat racer doing all this for the love of our sport and doing the best you can to get info from what i know was a busy busy judges stand!!

The real complaining should be directed at the live stream oversite committee who never seemed to be able to announce overall results of the heats or the final races. I am guessing it was difficult to get the info to the various announcers to be announced from the judges stand??? All in all though it was a great effort to get the live stream out to all of us at home at it was great!

It was pretty cool that the live stream was as good as it was. This is the best it has been in the 3 or 4 years the SORC has been working on it. I was told that the Inboard folks helped us out and some of the equipment was there's.

ok now that I am not so tired I see how the wrong info was given for CSR but first the actul results that are in fact on th score sheet I posted:

                  1 14H Ed Hearn
                  2. 60Z Jesse Swain
                  3. 20R Kyle Bahl
                  4. 11R Drew Thompson
                  5. Kyle Lewis

the error happened because the person texting (who in this case was not on the official barge) used the placings as shown but the boat numbers from the first lap placing not the final lap.

Crazy CSR final with DQ's, flips, and jumps! Smart driving took the win this year over the speed boys.

Everyone loved Kay Myers announcing. Although the race results were lacking her energy and fun stories were entertaining!! But the lack of results was not her fault. Overall the live stream and Teresa's reporting were awesome.

Not being able to be there, the live streaming was great even with the minor problems! Many thanks to everyone that made it possible!

Yes Matt you are correct, after what 3/4 years & the amount of money (?) paid by APBA the quality should be better & no fault of Thereas. The announcers need to be of the quality of Ray Rodda. After all, the world can see this & it should be a quality announcer who knows who is in each heat & tells how they finished on the course. And, as Ray does, maybe unofficially, he does the points calculation ( not overall times if there is a tie) & announces accordingly. For the most parts the announcers were a joke never really saying who was in what position & not announcing the order of finish

As I am sure Ray will tell you , a lot of his information , as far as standings go , come directly from the great job Sue Sailer and her crew do. They work a router and printer at DePue so as soon as the results are official Ray has a printout. Ray is a great race announcer and does a great job of doing a race and keeping race fans and teams informed but it is a total team effort by the USTS crew. I hope in the future they can start streaming their races with Rays call in the background. Holy Buckets to the best race announcer going ,Ray Rodda ! ! !

Dale and John are absolutely right, I work with a crew in USTS that is on top of their game from the time they arrive until packed up ready for the next one, helping me keep track of the points and heat finishes. They are superb in handling the registration to the scoring and Sue and her grew are simply at the top of the game. Trying to help the casual fan understand the organized chaos should be what we as announcers do. They are the reason our folks are on the water and without them and the sponsorship that comes with it, we are back to funding 100% of it ourselves. That does not work and we need to make sure the sponsors get the bang for the buck.

My complete and utter thanks will never give Sue and her crew the proper credit as they are the worker bees making this all work for the Title Series. My thanks.

I would like to point out that everyone is just a volunteer and that live streaming is a free service to the arm chair quarterbacks and they do the best they can.. No final results were mentioned since it took time to figure out gun jumpers and who failed inspection which was not finished till the sun went down.. I will add that a few of folks failed inspection or jumped.. Teresa did post the UN official results as soon as she got then.. Kay Meyers was really good at her temporary announcing job and had a blast.. Maybe its her new day job!

I would like to thank a big group of folks for jumping in and helping me out when we were out of it.. We got a big hole in the sponson and with a lot of tape and a piece of Okoume screwed in place we were able to go back out and finish 4th in the 750 MH class.. It was great work and and a lot of fun for only having two heats of racing to get the repair done.. I think everyone did a great job and it was fun.. Now I have done a national in all three sanctioning bodies..Its kind of sad that the week came and went so fast.. We loved putting faces with the folks on HR.. Till next year when you all get to do it again.. I am toying with retiring..
