    Mystery part...

    It has occurred to me that sometimes during the search for obscure racing outboard stuff you come across some things that make you scratch your head a little and wonder what the guy who made stuff was thinking..Sometimes it is obvious and sometimes not so much..Here is a part that I found. Does anyone care to guess what it was for and who may have made it?

    I don't know. 44merc lake runner had to have a muffler.

        Come on, Ric, you're a car guy. A '60 MG fourbanger only had 3 exhaust pipes.
