While the internet steaming camera was following the boat running in last place, Jon Zimmerman blew over the U-9 Team Red Dot/Spirit of Qatar who was giving a good chase to frontrunner Jimmy Shane driving the U-6 Oberto. The U-9 did a 360 and landed upright. There was a long, long pause with no word from the rescue team. But then Jon Zimmerman waved to the crowd as the rescue boat headed to the mandatory check in with medical personnel.

wow! Sure didn't take much to start that motion. I have done that in my 25ssh but at a much lower speed of course and it was not fun.

I think he never saw it coming, after a bump the canard went down for a moment, enough to get him a little more air and then.....
