A big thanks for Mike Johnson and all the CORA group for putting on another great show. It was super fun especially to see all the folks like Glen Wesenko and the Williams who travelled up to 14 hours to come play with us. I didn't keep track of all the results. Some I do remember are: J Michael Kelly won CSH, Mike Perman won CSR and 20SSH. I'm sure someone else will post a complete list of results for the weekend. Again, thanks CORA for a great weekend. Weather cooperated and I only need to recoop from sunburn - weather was great.Sean Byrne

Agree Mike J and CORA deserve big kudos - well run event, all classes ran on each day. Several boats need some major repairs but thank goodness no major injuries (a side note - clearly evident from recent events - yes, plural - that when a composite and a wood boat collide, the composite boat will come out in far better shape than the wood boat...). Looking forward to Pat Gleason's photos when he hangs them on Smugmug. I'm taking a cue from Glen W and putting foam on my left cockpit side and top edge - my old hip bone has a massive bruise from leaning out on those rough turns!

A wonderful weekend to race at a premium NW race site. The weather cooperated, the course was set up perfect with wide sweeping corners, and the volunteers and race officials did a great job to keep things rolling on time with over 170 entries. Thank you CORA (the hosting club) and SOA members for all of the special effort to run this many Divisional heats at one weekend sanction. As usual, the Oregon Rescue Team gave us outstanding, on-the-water emergency response services during both days of racing (and thank God no one was seriously injured in the few racing mishaps we had considering so many heats were run each day.) It was a REALLY fun and interesting boat racing event that many of us will savor for years to come. The Cullaby Memorial Regatta race was dedicated to the late Roy Blackwell, a real gentleman and great Region 10 stock outboard racer whom we all dearly miss. A special event trophy was awarded to the top C-Stock/20ssH driver in Roy's memory -- a very special award! It was a treat to race with Roy and an honor to attend and compete in this boat race held in his memory.
