One of Hokey Hydro race team's ASH rent-a-drivers weighed about 101 pounds geared up. She was so petite if she went into a talkie jag on the drive we'd put her in the glove box. Her A hydro - to make weight - went about 225-230 pounds. My back hurts just thinking about those launchs.carpetbagger

When Lon Stevens wrote the rules for FER and FEH it was anticipated that the class would be adopted by the PRO category (it was also on fuel when ran as a local class on the west coast). The PRO category turned it down and the MOD category picked it up. The rules remained the same, except for fuel of course. As to DMR, I think the weight limit was dumped to help increase class participation. Don't quote me on that though.
