I was 15 in 66. Pit crewing for a friend and his brother here in Ontario, getting the itch! Got my first A Hydro the next year.

I foundly remember the 66 Nationals at Prineville. It was a long drive from Boston, MA. My Agate Cup is one of the few awards that I still have. I was 16. The draft ended my racing career prematurely.

Dean, Yes, I edged out Jim Downing and also got 4th in BU behind Stover Hire, Gary Stippich and Hedlund(my only full year in BU). I also won the John & Flora Blank Award with 9769 points (21 firsts and 1 fourth). It was a good year.
