In a press release (as follows) made by Mark Wheeler to APBA members Ryan Berlin has been named to replace Dan Wiener as Director of Operations at APBA. Good luck on your new endeavor Ryan!
"Dan Wiener resigned as APBA's Executive Director on April 28. Dan's resignation provided APBA with the opportunity to examine and reallocate the functions within APBA headquarters. As a result of this careful analysis, Ryan Berlin has been named Director of Operations for the American Power Boat Association; the Executive Director position will not be filled.
In addition to his duties as the editor of rule books, Propeller Magazine and management of APBA's digital media; Ryan will now be responsible for day-to-day functioning of APBA headquarters and other member services.
Please join me in welcoming Ryan to his new leadership role. During the period since Dan resigned, Ryan has taken on more and more duties within the office. His willingness to pitch in wherever needed and his knowledge of APBA, made his promotion of Director of Operations an easy decision.
