Northeast Stock, Mod and J-class Divisionals-Standish Maine-May 17th-18th-Roll Call

Less than 2 weeks away till the Northeast Divisionals.Lets talk it up fellow boat racers and communicate with the drivers in your class and get as many of them to come and participate in Region 1 first race of the year. Lets make it a successful one. I will be the first to go. I will be bringing 1-750mr, 1-500mh. I believe Peter Babcock and Mike Akerstrom will also be bringing there 750mr. If anyone is still looking for Hotels for the weekend the Super 8 Westbrook and H.J still have rooms available, too mention a few. If anyone has info on the Friday night Go-carting event I would love to hear it. Who else is out there thats going to Standish. Lets talk it up people.

Standis Events - We will have testing Friday $ 20 per driver -- NO DOGS IN PITS - They allowed outside the chain link fence -We have gone to Maine Indoor Karting around 8 pm- Friday ,Usually several dine at the BBQ place - Famous Daves - next to Cabellas in Scarborough. The Kart track is just down the road..Back to boat Racing --3 days in 2 for the largest classes, reduced entry fee. Food in pit all 3 days and a Dinner Saturday night only $ 10.00

Originally the North American Championships for 850mr,850mh where going to be in Whitney Point,N.Y. Does anyone know if they will also be run in Standish Maine along with the Divisionals like originally scheduled for Whitney point? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure if they took over the NAC. You would have to ask The Mad Russian about that. I will be there with an 850R and 850H. Davey said him and Shaw W. will be there with 850R's.

It may seem unmanly to mention it, but Saturday looks to be chilly and wet. Bring extra dry socks & clothes.
Also, there will be no local legal fuel for Divisional Classes..
