I could use a little help. Just bought a Merc 25xs for my Giles csh. I bought it to replace the Yamato 302 I've been running the past couple years. I'm not a racer but have really enjoyed running the hydro, The transom on my boat is 14 inches. It looks like I might have to cut it (notch) 1 1/2 to 2 inches to get the nose of the lower down where it should be. I also was interested in what prop (s) would work and how best to install a fuel tank. Thanks in advance.
