    Ammen Brother MRS!

Whether your parked in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary or Vancouver, there are certain realities they don't teach you in high school, technical school, trader school or university and that Canada is built on the "family compact" system that makes each city a virtual toilet of crappy politics and I think Winnipeg is way worse than anywhere else because it is so concentrated like nothing I have ever seen before! Something like our Federal Department of Indian Affairs!! I can just see everyone from this side of the fence nodding away in agreement! lol! Our media is; hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil because dang near everything is a compact and evil!! LOL!

For those of you left scratching your heads, just think of Kanada being one real big Texas style Cheyenne Social Club and I hear Gary Doer and Rick Perry are good friends at each end of Highway 59, who teach each other something too boot!

When I go to the USA, the soil of my birth, its like breathing fresh air after living in a toilet like this for so many years!

Those Are The Realities Too, Even Here

Its amazing how much graft we can all put up with, but when mother nature decides to ring its bell against you as in repeated hurricanes, scores of tornados, earthquakes and sunamuis its pretty safe right here or there amongst old moutain ranges as here on the bald prairie the Red River can't spill its banks anymore like it did in 1950s or nearly in 1997. We are protected even if it gets to minus 40 below zero in the middle of winter in the middle of a blizzard you can still hack up your furniture and burn that in the fireplace to keep ya warm, but knowing its Canada those yoyos in Ottawa would still find a way to tax the smoke from you saving your own life beause it causes polution and that is the perview of Ontario Hydro and Inco and the such like and dang it we can't let you do that!! LOL!

        Matt,

I'd vote for him, but he's too **** honest. He'd never last.

I think Dave and Bob both nailed it. If you think there is a problem then ask CBF head office to handle it by way of an official investigation.

Based on my experience, there are other financial areas of concern with the F-1 tour than just insurance. That is why they have never been brought to Toronto. I had a site, sponsors and Insurance. It was the cost of the various administrative crews attached to the tour that made it a non viable venture. I believe the issue of insurance costs have already been addressed. At this juncture it is a "red hearing".

I re-iterate, it's up to the sponsoring club to determine what is or isn't viable. Do your homework, crunch the numbers, and make a decision.

No Red Herring - Audit is showing it hit another $8,000 to make it $40K

Red Herring? Accounting records especially audited one'e that people would sooner forget has just turned up another $8,000.00 to make it a total of $40,000.00 for 5 events. What are red herrings where there are cancelled cheques, paperwork and bank statements? This stuff happened in the 1990s so it now 2005 and things are better? That might be and some might think this is some kind of sordid laundry then only seen recently.

Facts are facts so being that the CBF has evolved, what can the CBF do to represent those pretty much alienated since the 1950s. We, no I am dealing with long memories tempered by the 1990s and clearly if an east west connection can be made for a dozen wannabe Modified racers, what connection will that be and what can I bring to those wanting to know?
