Long Sault
I know there was a post strand that sort of dealt with Long Sault but I thought I would start another one to make sure it well recognized.
Again, the Eastern Canada Outboard Racing Club put on a phenomenal race! In my opinion it ranks at the top in respects to racing conditions, pits, camping, and organization. Most importantly, the town of Long Sault and the Parks of the St. Lawrence actually wanted us there.
Everything about this race was great. I can’t say enough for the organization and the planning of the event. A special thanks to Bob Abbott and his family for spearheading the organization of the race. Also, Those who helped Bob out before, during, and after the race. I understand Bob will not be putting on the race next year and has looked to others to carry the torch. I hope this works out because it would be devastating to loose such a great race.
Like I said before, Long Sault was a great race. It was the race of the year in my book. Anyone who has yet to experience this top ranking race should defiantly put it on their scheduled for next year.
