How many of you guys are planning to go to lockhaven. I can bring two DSH outfits I know that I can get Brian Rossman to drive one. I need two more boats for the class. How many mods are going down.
Dave,
Alan is bringing his DMH rig. It got a little damp Sun. at High Banks/Kinzua. we lined em up testing---Alan in DMH, Me in CMH, And Archie with his 25Mod/Merc. Caught a couple unseen rollers from ski-boat and Alan got tossed. motor took a dunk but dried out and ran well later...............
Looking for rig to run my C-MOD Merc on. Would keylard/Sweeny rig carry it?
Any other rig avail/thoughts-----------A?????.

Hey Steve,
I think that my keylard would be a little heavy for the C-mod. Charlie Fry has Kevin Fitzgeralds C-mod hemp at his place and it was raceable when it left whitney point last year. He would probably let you use it I am sure. It is a fast boat. It was for a yamato so you would have to do some transom adjusting. my number is 613-836-2365
We still need some DSH guys to show up at this race. Anyone else going to be there with a DSH.
In the early and mid 90's, when there were still quite a few guys running C merc. mods, their boats were the size of the old 55H D stocks. I'm sure you could find a few of those old boats laying around. Don't rule out a 44xs boat either. Remember that to made a C merc. really run, my experience, you've got to have a slightly loose set-up therefore you'll want to have some lumber underneath you. Also, the extra lumber helps the boat handle through the corners. Good luck, and I can't wait to see it run.

Hey Steve,
Joe is right. John Greer is running his C-mod merc on a 25xs GP boat and it is hitting 8K on the tach. Most C's if i remember from then were level and square to a very slight tuck like 1/16" if I remember right.
I ran the merc on a reg 30h tower on the Wally csh rig with 1/4" from bottom with 1/8" tuck and it got "loose" when ya let up. Rig is big for a "C" and
has a huge "ROCKER" and S front built into it to it.
May try it on a short Parker tower on my Pavlick.
Joe--------It would look good on back of your "lay down"!!!
Do we have anymore DSH guys coming to lockhaven. So far I have two rigs and Jim 8-S for this race we need a couple more. I am bringing a new boat for a lad from PA but I do not know if he is prepared to run at this race.
