  • Safety Gear Color Rules for Stock Outboard

I’ve got the 2005 APBA rule book in front of me but I can’t find the answers pertaining to Stock Outboard:

Can cut sleeves and pants be any color?

Is there a color restriction on life jackets?

Where is the color restriction rule for helmets? What percent must be orange?

    Mark,

In the rule book, page SR-1, APBA General Safety rules. Cut suits can be any color. Upper 50% of helmet must be flourescent red, yellow, or orange. Upper 70% of the life jacket must be international orange or yellow.
